SKINVIVE by JUVÉDERM is the first and only hyaluronic acid microdroplet injectable indicated to improve skin smoothness of the cheeks and hydrate from within—without a series of treatments—for a glow that lasts through 6 months.

Am I a good candidate?

What areas can be treated?

SkinVive is intended for use in the cheeks.

What does the treatment feel like?

We apply topical numbing cream 30 minutes prior to your treatment. This makes the SkinVive procedure comfortable and relatively pain-free. Typically, people just feel light pinpricks.

Who performs this treatment?

All SkinVive treatments done at Radiance Medical Spa are performed by one of our highly-trained Nurse Practitioners or Physician Associates. They are extensively trained before performing our treatments and are overseen by Dr. Ricks.

How many syringes are required?

Most patients require 2-3 syringes of SkinVive per treatment. A treatment will last patients about 6 months.

Is there any downtime?

This treatment has minimal downtime (typically just slight redness and the skin may feel slightly bumpy for a few days). It is possible to get bruising, but not everyone experiences bruising.

What kind of post procedure care is required?

We recommend avoiding vigorous activities for the first 24 hours after a treatment.

When will I see results?

You may notice some improvement immediately after the treatment, but it typically takes about 3-4 weeks for full results to develop (as the hyaluronic acid pulls in moisture).

Is maintenance required?

We recommend getting a maintenance treatment every 6 months to maintain your results.
